The Regina Zen Sangha has offered a weekend-long silent retreat once a year as an opportunity for students to deepen their practice. They are typically held in the spring as residential (overnight) retreats at Wood Acres in Moose Jaw or as non-residential retreats within Regina.
Event registration and attendance is restricted to adults.
Bring your own cushion/zafu or a thick blanket if possible.
Absolutely no recreational drugs or alcohol are allowed on-site.
No smoking within the facility. Please refrain from smoking near the entrance.
Noble silence will be observed at all times unless otherwise directed.
Kindly observe the Five Precepts while at the retreat.
Everyone is expected to observe the retreat rules.
Event organizers reserve the right to terminate your retreat privileges at any time should conflict arise within the retreat. Please act courteously and respectfully towards all participants.
Please contact organizers for driving directions if you are not familiar with the location of the event.
Should you have any further questions or inquiries regarding the retreat, please contact [email protected].
